Red Carpet Roll Out - Recently I produced a red carpet event and thought I would share a few of our charity fundraising thoughts with you. The occasion was for PCRM and also like other red carpet events we produce, lots of hours of planning went into creating this successful nonprofit event. One of the primary nonprofit thoughts was to create this nonprofit event stick out from the crowd since the charity was being introduced to a new audience on the West Coast. Thus it was important for this particular red carpet event to adhere to the maximum level of professionalism concerning food, service, and layout.
We accomplished this by bringing in one of the greatest live TV show manufacturers who in turn constructed a top-rated manufacturing team making the television part of this occasion seamless. Other charity fundraising thoughts we used to keep our funding was to create elegant floral arrangements at price and recycle the glass containers. We even used among the floral designs out of Budget Bash, that will be to submerge a cymbidium orchid. Like most of other red carpet events, we put "asks" for sponsors for our bar.
Because this is a vegan nonprofit event we'd very strict parameters in terms of what drinks we could serve but discovered generous sponsors for our liquor, beer, and wine. Other sponsors were kind enough to allow us "borrow" their recipes where the caterer generated our tasty three-course dinner menu. Additional nonprofit ideas included our silent and live auction that also adhered to a vegan code to make sure our patrons weren't offended by that which we provided to help raise capital.
We used lighting efficiently as our main design element with this red carpet event as well as vegan-friendly drape and linen. We integrated our design components from the save-the-date card as well as the invitation to make our timeless yet elegant room décor. And what are red carpet events with no after party? For this part of the occasion, we quickly transitioned our cocktail area into a nightclub with a white dance floor, white faux leather couches, and a vegan dessert channel.
Added charity fundraising ideas contained sleek modern-looking informational kiosks to help interpret, explain and support the charity's mission statement. I hope you picked up a couple of nonprofit ideas for your next nonprofit event. I learned a great deal from producing this occasion especially concerning healthful eating habits and incorporating facets of a vegetarian diet into my regular routine. Until next time, remember the Budget Bash mantra: make it easy, delicious, trendy, enjoyable & economical whatsoever!
