Red Wine Stains On Carpet Shannon Lush - Recently I made a red carpet event and thought I would share a few of our charity fundraising thoughts with you. The event was for PCRM and like other red carpet events we produce, lots of hours of planning went into creating this thriving nonprofit event. Among the main nonprofit thoughts was to make this nonprofit event stand out from the audience since the charity was being released to a new audience on the West Coast. Thus it was important for this red carpet event to adhere to the highest level of professionalism in terms of service, food, and layout.
We achieved this by bringing in one of the top live TV show producers who in turn assembled a top-rated manufacturing team making the television part of this event smooth. Other charity fundraising thoughts we used to keep our budget was to create elegant floral arrangements at cost and recycle the glass containers. We even used one of the floral designs from Budget Bash, which will be to submerge a cymbidium orchid. Like all other red carpet events, we placed "asks" for patrons for our pub.
Because this was a vegan nonprofit event we'd very strict parameters in relation to what drinks we could serve but discovered generous patrons for our liquor, beer, and wine. Other patrons were kind enough to allow us "borrow" their recipes where the caterer generated our tasty three-course dinner menu. Additional nonprofit notions comprised our silent and live auction which stuck to a vegan code to make sure our patrons weren't offended from what we provided to help raise funds.
We used lighting efficiently as our principal design element with this red carpet event as well as vegan-friendly drape and linen. We integrated our design components in the save-the-date card as well as the invitation to make our timeless yet elegant room décor. And what exactly are red carpet events with no after party? For this region of the event, we quickly transitioned our cocktail area to a nightclub with a white dance flooring, white faux leather couches, and a vegan dessert station.
I hope you picked up a couple of nonprofit ideas for your next nonprofit event. I learned a lot from making this event especially in terms of healthy eating habits and incorporating facets of a vegan diet into my everyday routine. Until next time, remember the Budget Bash mantra: make it simple, delicious, stylish, fun & economical whatsoever!
