Cityville Red Carpet Party - Lately I produced a red carpet event and thought I'd share some of our charity fundraising ideas with you. The event was for PCRM and like other red carpet events we produce, lots of hours of preparation went into making this thriving charitable event. One of the primary nonprofit ideas was to make this nonprofit event stick out from the crowd since the charity was being introduced to a new audience on the West Coast. Thus it was essential for this particular red carpet event to adhere to the highest degree of professionalism concerning food, service, and design.
We achieved this by earning one of the greatest live TV show manufacturers who in turn constructed a top-rated manufacturing team making the tv portion of this event seamless. Other charity fundraising ideas we used to keep our budget was supposed to create elegant floral structures at cost and recycle the glass containers. We even used one of the flowery designs from Budget Bash, which will be to submerge a cymbidium orchid. Like most of other red carpet events, we put "asks" for patrons for our bar.
Because this was a vegan nonprofit event we had quite strict parameters in terms of what drinks we could serve but discovered generous patrons for our liquor, beer, and wine. Other patrons were kind enough to let us "borrow" their recipes in which the caterer generated our tasty three-course dinner menu. Additional nonprofit ideas comprised our silent and live auction which stuck to a vegan code to ensure our patrons were not offended from that which we offered to help raise funds.
We utilized light efficiently as our principal design element for this red carpet event in addition to vegan-friendly drape and linen. We integrated our design elements in the save-the-date card in addition to the invitation to create our classic yet tasteful room décor. And what exactly are red carpet events with no after party? For this region of the event, we quickly transitioned our cocktail area to a nightclub with a white dance flooring, white faux leather couches, and a vegan dessert station.
I hope you picked up a few nonprofit tips for your next nonprofit event. I learned a lot from making this event especially concerning healthy eating habits and incorporating facets of a vegan diet into my regular routine. Until next time, remember the Budget Bash mantra: make it simple, delicious, stylish, enjoyable & economical to all!
