Red Carpet Themed Parties - Recently I produced a red carpet event and thought I would share a few of our charity fundraising thoughts with you. The occasion was for PCRM and also like other red carpet events we produce, lots of hours of preparation went into making this successful charitable event. Among the primary nonprofit thoughts was to create this nonprofit event stick out from the audience since the charity was being introduced to a new audience on the West Coast. Thus it was essential for this red carpet event to adhere to the highest degree of professionalism in terms of service, food, and design.
We accomplished this by earning one of the top live TV show producers who subsequently constructed a top-rated manufacturing team making the tv part of this occasion seamless. Other charity fundraising thoughts we used to maintain our budget was to create elegant floral structures at cost and recycle the glass containers. We even used one of those flowery designs from Budget Bash, which will be to submerge a cymbidium orchid. Like most of other red carpet events, we put "asks" for patrons for our pub.
Because this is a vegan nonprofit event we'd very strict parameters in relation to exactly what drinks we could serve but found generous patrons for our liquor, beer, and wine. Other patrons were kind enough to let us "borrow" their recipes where the caterer created our delicious three-course dinner menu. Additional nonprofit notions comprised our live and silent auction which stuck to a vegan code to make sure our patrons were not offended by what we provided to help raise capital.
We used lighting effectively as our main design element with this red carpet event in addition to vegan-friendly drape and linen. We incorporated our design components in the save-the-date card in addition to the invitation to make our classic yet tasteful room décor. And what exactly are red carpet events without an after party? For this region of the occasion, we quickly transitioned our cocktail area to a nightclub with a white dance floor, white faux leather sofas, and a vegan dessert station.
I learned a lot from producing this occasion especially in terms of healthful eating habits and incorporating aspects of a vegan diet into my everyday routine. Until the next time, remember the Budget Bash mantra: make it simple, delicious, trendy, fun & economical whatsoever!
