Red Carpet Maternity Style - Lately I made a red carpet event and thought I would share a few of our charity fundraising thoughts with you. The event was for PCRM and like other red carpet events we create, lots of hours of planning went into making this successful nonprofit event. One of the main nonprofit thoughts was to make this nonprofit event stand out from the audience since the charity was being released to a new audience on the West Coast. Therefore it was essential for this particular red carpet event to adhere to the highest level of professionalism concerning food, service, and design.
We accomplished this by bringing in one of the top live TV show producers who in turn assembled a top-rated production team making the tv part of this event smooth. Other charity fundraising thoughts we used to keep our funding was to create elegant floral arrangements at cost and recycle the glass containers. We even used among the flowery designs from Budget Bash, which will be to submerge a cymbidium orchid. Like all other red carpet events, we placed "asks" for patrons for our pub.
Since this is a vegan nonprofit event we had very strict parameters in terms of what beverages we could serve but discovered generous patrons for our liquor, beer, and wine. Other patrons were kind enough to let us "borrow" their recipes where the caterer generated our delicious three-course dinner menu. Additional nonprofit ideas included our live and silent auction which stuck to a vegan code to make sure our patrons were not offended from what we provided to help raise capital.
We utilized lighting efficiently as our principal design element for this red carpet event as well as vegan-friendly drape and linen. We integrated our design components from the save-the-date card as well as the invitation to create our classic yet tasteful room décor. And what exactly are red carpet events without an after party? For this part of the event, we quickly transitioned our cocktail room to a nightclub with a white dance flooring, white faux leather sofas, and a vegan dessert station.
Added charity fundraising ideas contained sleek modern-looking informational kiosks to help translate, explain and support the charity's mission statement. I learned a great deal from producing this event especially concerning healthful eating habits and integrating aspects of a vegan diet into my everyday routine. Until next time, remember the Budget Bash mantra: make it simple, delicious, stylish, enjoyable & economical whatsoever!
